I. WELCOME TO THE PATRONS’ CLUB

The Stanislav Libenský Award Patrons' Club is an exclusive circle of visionary individuals dedicated to championing and nurturing the art of glass. We prize the calibre of our patrons and the depth of their impact over numbers, viewing membership as a lasting investment in cultural influence and heritage. Membership is open to individuals who make a donation in support of the Prague Gallery of Czech Glass and the organization of the international Stanislav Libenský Award.

Your patronage is vital to the Stanislav Libenský Award, widely considered the 'Oscar for young glass artists' and the world's only international glass exhibition for university graduates. Your support ensures the continuity of this award, helping emerging artists enter the market and gain invaluable education, such as a scholarship to the prestigious Pilchuck Glass School in the USA.

II. MEMBERSHIP PRINCIPES AND ETHICS

A. OUR ETHOS

We expect our members to uphold the highest legal and ethical standards, in keeping with the values of the Club. Allegiance to the Club’s mission and the public good remains paramount; any pursuit of personal gain is strictly inadmissible.

B. CODE OF CONDUCT

We request that all members show the utmost respect and courtesy to others at all times. Any demeaning, discriminatory, harassing or threatening behaviour is strictly prohibited; this includes inappropriate remarks regarding race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or the use of offensive language. We kindly ask our Patrons' Club members to observe the dress code.

III. CODE OF CONDUCT AND PATRON BENEFITS

A. ENGAGEMENT

Please engage with artists, curators, and other guests with the utmost professionalism and respect for their work and privacy. We ask that you do not disrupt the flow of events or the work of the staff. Friendly discourse and mutual support among members of the Club is warmly welcomed, with any resulting benefits or endeavors remaining solely at the discretion of the parties involved.

B. PRIVILEGES, VENUES & EVENTS

Members are kindly requested to observe all Club regulations and instructions from our staff. The use of illicit substances, excessive consumption of alcohol, and unauthorised photography or recording are strictly prohibited during Club events.

C. PROTECTING OUR ASSETS AND REPUTATION

Any damage, destruction, or theft of property belonging to the Prague Gallery of Czech Glass (o.p.s.) or associated venues is strictly prohibited. Members must not bring the Club into disrepute, nor use its name or logo for personal gain without express prior consent.

D. CONFIDENTIALITY AND CONFLICT OF INTEREST

Please safeguard all confidential information acquired during your membership. Avoid any interests or activities that could conflict with the best interests of the Club, and promptly disclose any such matters to the Club's leadership. Please do not accept personal advantages that could lead to a conflict of interest.

IV. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF MEMBERSHIP

A. PATRONAGE LEVELS AND DONATIONS

The Club offers four tiers of patronage based on an annual contribution: Crystal Circle: €25,000 per annum, Platinum Patron: €10,000 per annum, Gold Patron: €5,000 per annum, and Silver Patron: €3,000 per annum. The current rate of annual patronage is guaranteed for a minimum of 5 years. All patrons, across all tiers, will receive invitations to at least four exclusive events each year, offering unique opportunities to connect with artists and prominent figures. An overview of the tiers and exclusive privileges is always kept up to date on the Club’s website. All benefits provided by the Club to its members are discretionary and voluntary. Nonetheless, we trust that your membership will bring you meaningful experiences and connections with extraordinary individuals.

B. DURATION AND RENEWAL

Membership is valid for 12 months from the date of the donation. It is non-refundable and non-transferable, as it is treated as a tax-deductible contribution in support of the Prague Gallery of Czech Glass (o.p.s.) and the Stanislav Libenský Award.

C. INAUGURAL DONATION

Upon joining the Patrons’ Club, a one-off joining donation of €1,000 is payable.

D. CONSENT TO ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Club members consent to the publication of their name, or their company's name, on the Club's website and in the exhibition catalogue for the Stanislav Libenský Award.

V. COMMUNICATION

Correspondence between members and the Club's leadership is conducted exclusively via email and our official WhatsApp group.

V. WAITING LIST AND ADMISSION

A. WAITING LIST RULES

Prospective members are invited to express their interest via our official application form. Should the Club reach its capacity, approved candidates will be placed on a waiting list. To secure a place on this list, a contribution equivalent to the joining donation may be requested. This donation is non-refundable, even in the event that admission is not finalised, as it directly supports the ongoing mission of the Club.

B. ADMISSION PROCESS AND CONDITIONS

The Club retains sole discretion over the admission of new members, taking into consideration the strategic requirements of the Club and recommendations from existing patrons. We reserve the right to decline membership to any candidate who does not meet our exacting standards, or whose conduct is deemed incompatible with the Club’s ethos, regardless of their position on the waiting list.

VI. CONSEQUENCES OF BREACH OF RULES

A. PROCEDURE IN THE EVENT OF A BREACH

The Club reserves the right to refuse admission or terminate the membership of any individual whose conduct violates these guidelines. Any breach shall be addressed via formal notification, allowing the Patron the opportunity to respond, followed by an internal review by the Club's leadership.

B. POTENTIAL SANCTIONS AND TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP

Failure to settle the patronage contribution within the agreed period constitutes a material breach and grounds for immediate termination of Club membership, with any previously paid contributions being non-refundable. Additional measures may include the suspension of privileges or permanent revocation of membership, likewise without entitlement to a refund. Expelled members may also be barred from attending future events or from reapplying for membership.
